A winery in Tállya, a wine-growing village of the region’s former glory days, rich in first-class vineyards. The three of us founded the winery as university friends and although we are different, we think in terms of wine and quality and as a result we have common ground, where there is no question between us.
Tokaj is in the narrow elite of the best wine regions in the world and we want to show its lovable face. We are thinking about exceptional vineyards and first-class vineyards, because we do not see wine as a mass product, but we also do not want to over-mystify our wines.
We want to make good wine from great territory – it’s as simple as that. We try to avoid the fads, we want to meet our own expectations first and foremost, and we prioritise quality over bottle count. In our civil life we are part of well-functioning corporate systems, and the approach we take from there helps us a lot in the wine industry.
We want to make a wine that can stand its ground anywhere in the world. And by 2030 we want to have a Tokaj Drei aszú, but we still have a long way to go.
